Nick's Notes:
After seeing the excellent video for the first time Sunday night on MTV (in regular rotation, even!), "Silver and Cold" is looking to be #1 for a looong time. I don't believe the Lostprophets will ever make it at this point.

Since St. Louis radio finally added "I Miss You" over the past week or so (and I saw its great new video for the first time, too) it comes back, after several weeks off the contender list, and debuts considerably high at #28 and should make bold moves on next week's chart.

Kudos to MTV for being the sole reason "Maps" is not only back on, but moving up my chart quickly. Almost every time I turn on regular video programming, I can expect to see it within 2 hours. And I don't get to watch except on weekends, and even that's after midnight, right before I go to bed. But Best Buy has their album on sale for $6.99 this week, so since it won't be getting any cheaper, I think I'll see what all the fuss is about.

I think Alicia Keys is done.

I'm the one who rejuvenated halo20's interest in "English Summer Rain" and he still debuts it on his chart 3 notches higher than it ("officially") debuts on mine this week.

If Thursday can hold on until I see them open for AFI on the 25th, they should be fine and rebound. When I hear Iggy and Brand New on KNSX lately, it's always as the songs are about to end, so I don't hear enough of them to prevent them from falling.

Godsmack and the White Stripes aren't necessarily done, but clearly they'll never make it to the Top 25 at this rate. I was hoping Cold would release "Wasted Years" before it completely falls off, but I have my doubts. N.E.R.D. is running on fumes of the one time I've heard it so far.#nosmileys

Kudos to MTV for being the sole reason "Maps" is not only back on, but moving up my chart quickly. Almost every time I turn on regular video programming, I can expect to see it within 2 hours. And I don't get to watch except on weekends, and even that's after midnight, right before I go to bed. But Best Buy has their album on sale for $6.99 this week, so since it won't be getting any cheaper, I think I'll see what all the fuss is about.

I just bought the album tonight at Best Buy actually. I haven't taken a listen to it yet though.
