Already announced as the follow-up to "Soul Meets Body" from Plans. It was announced in a Billboard article.

Perfect song for Spring, I expect this to be big at many formats, but still, I don't expect to Soul Meets Body to go away for a while yet.

I freaking love this song, but I don't think it should be the next single. It's defintely a seasonal song, and it should be released third in the Spring. I Will Follow You Into The Dark should be the second single...just as catchy, but more wintery and way more subdued.

I like this but I don't think it's quite as good as "Soul Meets Body."

The title of this song reminds me of one of my girlfriends.

I like this but I don't think it's quite as good as "Soul Meets Body." Barnes and Noble was playing the crap out of this and "Soul Meets Body". :) I like this song, but I agree with Krypton; it's not as good. But you can't necessarily help that, so, whatever.

This song is really good, don't know if I like it more than "Soul Meets Body" yet. The instrumentals sound like a mix of James Bond and Lifehouse's "Somebody Else's Song," which makes for a very interesting, but unique combination.

I like this a lot more than "Soul Meets Body". I agree. Soul Meets Body was decent, but it sounded like it was trying too hard. Crooked Teeth is just flat-out good.

Yeah, this is probably my second favorite single by them, behind "The New Year." KNDD's been playing this since October, so I've had plenty of time to get into it.
I believe there's a basic rule of thumb when it comes to songs performed by Ben Gibbard, that, more often than not, should hold true. (And I've probably beat this into the ground by now, but if not, here it is anyway):
Songs where Ben doesn't sing "ba pa" > Songs where Ben sings "ba pa"
Thus you have:
"Crooked Teeth" > "Soul Meets Body" "The New Year" > "The Sound of Settling" "Such Great Heights" > "We Will Become Silhouettes"
Of course, that's not necessarily to say songs are doomed when Ben does his signature vocal melody (as is the opposite, with SGH), but I just think they generally work better without them. You really get a feel for the lyrical grace he can put into some songs. That's why I loved "The New Year" when I first heard it, and this, while not nearly at that standard, is another good piece of songwriting.

I don't like this as much as SMB but it's still absolutely brilliant . Let's hope for another Top10 smash .

I think it is difficult to compare SMB and Crooked Teeth mainly because they sound so different. Soul Meets Body had such a wintry feel, and this song definitely has a Spring feel to it, so I think waiting until the end of January for an adds date is great. It'll really start picking up steam in March right when it needs to. Honestly, this song should chart no worse then Soul Meets Body (Top 5), however, stiff competition from Hard-Fi, new Killers, new RHCP, new Bravery (who is REALLY under the radar), new Snow Patrol, new Modest Mouse, and "keeping fingers crossed", This Is Such A Pity expected this Spring...their could be some stiff competiton. Either way, I think Death Cab will have a huge year with releasing Marching Bands Of Manhattan and perhaps even in the Fall, You're Heart Is an Empty Room.
Crooked Teeth should still find its way into the Top 5 though.

Looks like this will break Top 30 by the end of this week and if it keeps the gains it has right now at +240, it could even be Top 20 the following week.....I think this might outpeak Soul Meets Body and definitely get a push to be crossed over.

I didn't think much of this track at first, but its really growing on me now. I'm not sure if I like it as much as Soul Meets Body, but better than most of the earlier stuff I'd heard from them.
