What's yours?
After debuting last week at #24, Rascal Flatts jumps into the #1 spot, in only their second week on the chart, with their hit "What Hurts The Most", on the upcoming chart. They set the record for biggest jump into the top position, on my chart.

'You're Beautiful,' from #9.
'Stickwitu' re-entered the Top 20 at the top rung, but if it had been a Top 30/40/50 back then, it would have had the biggest jump, since it was below #20.

On the 4/26/03 chart, Evanescence's "Bring Me to Life" jumped from 10 to 1. This was after a frozen chart, though, as I had been unable to post a chart the week before. Plus, on this week I had to reconstruct the chart from scratch, as I was still using a point system at the time and my chart file had been erased. In otherwords, BMTL jumping 10-1 was a result of unusual circumstances.
So, to be fair, I'm also going to list the second highest jump. This happened on the 1/31/04 chart; Beyonce's "Me, Myself, and I" jumped 9-1.

The record goes to "Erotica" by Madonna 36-1. A record I don't think will ever be broken. Second best goes to "Take On Me" by a-ha 8-1.

Weird that I notice this now because on my chart this week @ www.chart.themaxonline.net, KT Tunstall made a big leap to #1 from #28 so it got me curious as to what the record was so I looked.
The Top 5 is listed at the site. Nelly Furtado moved 42-1 in 2004 with 'Try', giving her the record!

I don't have one on HERE (I did for 2 weeks than stopped), but on my iTunes, Kelly Osbourne's "One Word" went from like, #60 to #19, which isn't #1, but still big.
Pink's "Who Knew" is my biggest #1 jump, from #54 (I think) to #1. It's still at number one.

"Icky Thump" by the White Stripes jumped 19-1 on my chart.
Weezer's new song also jumped 38-10 this week...that's gotta be a record.

Technically, it is Stephen Cochran's "Everything We Knew" (from #19), but that was in my 2nd week of doing charts, and I was still getting things ironed out.
Here is what I would consider the "official" list (including every song that has been #1, lol): #8: Jimmy Needham - Fence Riders (Issue #5) #5: Eli Young Band - When It Rains (Issue #4) #4: The Road Hammers - I Don't Know When To Quit (Issue #3) #2: Gary Allan - Watching Airplanes (Issue #14) #2: Lady Antebellum - Love Don't Live Here (Issue #17) #2: Jeremy Camp - No Matter What (Issue #19)
Most songs will be from #2 from now on - my top 10 is always jammed and slow-moving.

8-1 "Bring Me To Life" - Evanescence f/ Paul McCoy (on 3/7/03) 5-1 "Until The Day I Die" - Story Of The Year (on 2/6/04)* 5-1 "Breathe Into Me" - Red (on 5/25/07)
* Story Of The Year jumped to #1 from #5 because I knew that "Last Train Home" by Lostprophets was going to spend a lot of time at the top, and I didn't want "Until The Day I Die" to peak at #2. On the 2/6/04 chart, "Last Train Home" held at #2 so SOTY could get in one week at #1.

mine was Snow(Hey Oh) by RHCP, went from #11-#1 in its third week. Coldplay's Violet Hill is set to tie that mark as it sits at 11 on my newest chart for May 4th and will most likely be number one next week. I cant even explain how much I love this song.

The biggest jump to #1 was Missy's "We Run This" which jumped from #22 - #1. Other contenders were Nelly Furtado's "Promiscuous" (#15 - #1). Usher's "LITC" (#13 - #1) and LITC Part 2 (#17-#1).

When I did a personal chart, my biggest jump was Taylor Swift's infamous 14-1 rebound with Teardrops On My Guitar.
It was infamous because it had debuted and peaked at #4 with the pop mix. It began to drift down the chart, while Our Song grew. I finally downloaded both songs, but was disappointed that I only had access to the original. I ignored it for awhile, but I finally gave it a chance and something clicked. I just fell in love with it.
