Well, Pat Monahan and Maroon 5 are tied for my monthly leader after 20 days with 3 days each. Just like October 2006, October 2007 is a rather random month with little of the current signles doing well: last year "Lips of An Angel" and "Steady, as she goes" and this year "Her Eyes".

Well, I now have a 4-way tie for my monthly leader. Maroon 5, Pat Monahan, Blue October, and now Creed all have 3 days this months. I have "Calling You" giving it to Blue October, but I'll have to see.
As for Creed, since first getting a SOTD on 8/26, they have gotten 6 days with 6 different songs. My all-time leader, Nickelback got thier first 6 days with the same song.
Speaking of Nickelback, they still haven't gotten a SOTD this month. If they don't, it'll be the first time since December that they didn't get one.

October is over.
Timbaland still has a commanding lead over all over artists with 22 SOTDs, but Kanye was able to break Tim's Time/The Way I Are tie, as Stronger scored 4 SOTDs this month, bringing its total to 8, the current record.

Well, as I stare into December, Nickelback and Maroon 5 are tied for the yearly leader at 27 apiece. The monthly leader for November is tied by Chad Kroeger and Staind at 3 each. Nickelback has gone 68 days without a SOTD (since 9/20/07). Thier longest drought was 77 days, between 11/11/06 and 1/28/07.

On 11/25/07, a new record was set on my SOTD, for "oldest song". Grand Funk Railroad's "Some Kind of Wonderful" is from 1974, replacing Cyndi Lauper's "Time after Time" by 10 years. Cyndi's SOTD was on 7/21/07.

Question: Do you credit Chad individually with Nickelback's SOTDs?
For example, say:
1/1/07 Far Away 1/2/07 Far Away 1/3/07 Far Away 1/4/07 Far Away 1/5/07 Into the Night 1/6/07 Into the Night 1/7/07 Into the Night
Would you say Chad scored seven SOTDs that week or three?

It'd be three...Chad is probably the most confusing artist on my "all-time" list. Normally, I don't credit "featured" artists. For example, Justin Timberlake ranks rather high on my all-time list. He'd rank even higher if I credited him with "Ayo Technology" in its few SOTDs. But since Santana does NO singing whatsoever on his collabs, I decide to credit both him and the singer. I've also decided to credit both Timbaland and OneRepublic when "Apologize" is SOTD. So, Nickelback has 45 SOTDs and Chad has 8, that's 53 total. On the other hand, Matchbox Twenty has 25 SOTDs and Rob Thomas himself has 11, that's 36 total. And that's my ultra-music-nerd description.

My monthly leader is Chad Kroeger, with 5 SOTDs. Staind is in 2nd place with 3, and a whole rack of others had 2.

Tonic finished 1st in November with five days at the top, all with one song, If You Could Only See. That song was also the most successful song of November.

Wow guess I should check out that "Time" song by Timbaland. She Wants Revenge? Wow that he worked with them :o So I'm assuming its more rock than the Fall Out Boy song (loved that one too!)
I like how often Sober pops up on your SOTD too Acetic :)
I'd do this but I feel it would influence my PC too much...and with this new point system I have - it at times could be irratic with just that. This would just add a mess lol, I would feel compelled to add it to the PC which would just add more havoc lol.

Time is just crazy. I guess you could say it's some sort of experimental rock/R&B blend. I can say that it's one of the only songs on which I have some appreciation for Timbaland's vocals. The whole song is just haunting... and it screams, "Make a video for me!" Especially with the car sound effects... a video is a must. Yeah, Sober just keeps popping up. It's the only Kelly song that has placed on my chart so far. This basically replaced my PC. But I realized that this is basically how I did my PC. If I made it on a Sunday, I essentially made the song stuck in my head that day my #1. The rest of the chart was based on my preferences on the corresponding Hot 100 for that week. I tried to find a way to turn this into my PC, but it would be much harder. I do, however, already have my year-end chart all set up in Excel. Just gotta add in the last four weeks of December. It should be up on New Year's Eve.

It should be up on New Year's Eve. That's cool! Yah that would be hard to implement in a PC but if your system basically went like that before you should just go for it! Blfdguy1 is really cranking em out now and is shooting to be up to December as well as do a year end after that soon! (He's been the push for my catching up lol). So you should post your PC again! Yah if you like Sober you should check out Pulse's favorite 'Hole'. It's basically the most rock song Kelly Clarkson will probably ever do, you'll like it! I'm gonna check out 'Time'..I like Timbaland now. At first I thought he was overrated but he's put out some jams. And I've heard one of 'She Wants Revenge's' song and liked it so I should like 'Time'. But yah join back posting it man! I miss your PC..you could make a smashing new year comeback! (since you debuted it this new year).

OMG! I think I'm going senile at the ripe age of 18. I somehow lost track of a day this week.
No idea when, but I just noticed that my numbering is off a day. "Teardrops On My Guitar" should be charting for 12/22, not 12/21.
This has happened before, but I usually am able to backtrack and correct it (though I sometimes have to "make up" a SOTD). I really don't remember where I lost a day this time.
Oh well. To make up for it, I'll just chart two songs today. "Teardrops" conquered the first one, and it's looking like "Flashing Lights" might take the second.
