okay, well i've been looking for awhile for imported cds. not US ones but ones from other places in the world, well basically, Ausrtlia *sry, cant spell* & i was wondering where a good web-site is 2 buy them
plz don't say these 2 places because ebay: they have what i want but, you have to BUY IT NOW instead of bidding & my mom won't do that & amazon: 2 over-priced (aka---2much$$)
Thanks Y'ALL

Try Virgin Megastore's website. Their physical stores have a good import selection.

hmv.co.uk is good for all British releases. cdwow.com has UK albums.
The Virgin Megastores themselves are a goldmine. Whenever i'm in Orlando, I could literally spend hours in the one in Downtown Disney digging for import singles, some as cheap as $1.99.
I've actually seen a some import singles in FYE stores. Often on the top singles shelf to fill up the space available from the lack of recent U.S. releases. If you look under a particular artist's tab, you might be able to find imported albums from them as well.

They have a huge section of import singles on the middle floor that I've spent more time and money at than I care to admit. I've also noticed imports under artist tabs at Sam Goody (damn them for closing most of the NYC-area stores)

They have great compilation CD's as well for somewhat reasonable prices. I'm probably going to have to make a trip downthere between now and Christmas.

www.cd-wow.com is the best for sure. They have FREE shipping worldwide and their prices are really cheap, you can get UK and Australian albums for cheaper than you'd buy them in local stores most of the time. The downside is they have a limited range, generally mostly newest releases and major albums so you're not going to find old or rare stuff there. They also don't sell singles. I buy most of my music from there these days as its cheaper than buying it in regular Australian stores! If you want singles from Australia: www.hmv.com.auwww.sanity.com.au

Where are you from? That would help. Here in the US most college towns have pretty good local record shops that carry a pretty good selection of imports.

Yeah, just go through some of the local stores, then. I get a lot of my stuff through HMV if it's a UK thing.

Looks like shipping will be about $2.69, and $4.23 is right.

All those sites are very reputable (cd-wow, HMV. Sanity)... and it's better if you buy several things at once to save on postage costs.

Exchange rates change almost daily, so it's good to check them out before you order something. There's some really good website that comes up as one of the first results when you search on Google...xn.com or something? It converts almost any currency to another.
And i've ordered things from both CDWOW and HMV.co.uk and everything's fine. I assume their Australian website (HMV.co.au ?) is just as reliable.
