I hope there's not very much Matrix influence. That really scares me. But then again, hearing "Right Now" kind of did too because it was so self-throwback for the band.
Either way I predict Top 10 Active Rock/at least Top 20 Alternative.

I just heard this, and I really don't know what to think about it. I think they may have made a bad choice on this one. I felt Mirror was a return to Korn greatness musically, and this seems like a step backwards into Issues territory. I just hope the rest of the album isn't as sketchy as this.

Damn I need to hear this. I don't think it would be such a bad thing to do things like they did with "Issues". That to me is one of their best releases.

Eh, Issues to me felt like it had way too many filler bits and songs that never really went anywhere. This is kind of like the latter.

Korn is washed up. The only stations that will pick this up are the ones still playing Blue-Collar Alternative Rock, which thank god, every month one station seems to be dropping that dated trend from the early 00's.

Wow. If it wasn't for Jonathan Davis's distinct voice that no one else has, I would have no idea this was Korn. With a track name like Twisted Transistor, I figured the song would rock like theres no tomorrow, but this is far from it :(

Ugh, I can't say I'm happy to see this, but then again, I doubt it will be successful on radio given their recent performance. I think they should just hang it up...

On first listen I actually like this a lot. It's definately one of the poppiest songs they've ever done, but at the same time it's interesting and unique, AND distinctly Korn at the same time.
Was this produced by the Matrix?

Finally got to hear it today on my local alternaitve station and I thought it was awesome. A lot harder than I expected it to be. But I am pleasantly surprised.

Wow, such a quick reply! Thanks!
They're definitely going about their music from a much different angle now. It's weird to hear Jon actually singing the whole way through, especially since he's using his voice in a way that he really hasn't explored too much in the past.
This didn't impress me whatsoever upon the first listen. I don't know if Head's departure plays any role in this or not, but the guitars were mostly uninteresting and Jon's vocals were just so even-keel the whole way through that the song never built up to anything captivating. Hopefully repeated listens will improve this.
That being said, I'm still a big Korn fan and will buy this the first day no matter what.

There's one thing that really bugs me about this song and that's that it carries an identical level of intensity at the beginning, in the end, and everything in between. A climax is impossible because there's neither a peak nor valley in any point of the song.

A climax is impossible because there's neither a peak nor valley in any point of the song. I noticed that as well. But there could be alot worse ways of performing a song. I am pretty happy with this as a lead off single upon more listenin.

No offense, but you're an idiot. That's a cover. This is Korn. And if you had enough time to search the net for that then surely you could've found the numerous places where Jonathan confirmed that Twisted Transistor is their new single.

Hey, don't snap man. I didn't know that shit. Alright? I love Korn, too. There should be no name calling on this board. Sorry for being an idiot.

Jesus Christ, this song is already 35 at Active Rock and 51 at Alternative, both with over a million listeners, and it hasn't even gone for adds yet! I smell Top 10 and Top 15.

Let's not count our chickens before they hatch yet. This could just be the curiousity factor more than actual blowing up.

What a great song! Im happy that it started very well on radio. It could be their biggest hit in years.
And Jonathan confirm that the title of the album is "See you on the other side" and it will be out on december 6! The album is produced by Matrix and Atticus Ross who worked with Bad Religion and P!nk.

Rock 37 25 KORN Twisted Transistor 100 41 59 0.447 Up two spots and a 20 pin increase
Active Rock 33 24 KORN Twisted Transistor 596 272 324 3.169 Up one with over a 150 spin increase.

Already top 20 on Active Rock and on Alt. looks like they could pull off top 20 before the end of the week. I am so happy to see this doing so well before the add date
