And Jonathan confirm that the title of the album is "See you on the other side" That's lame. It fits with their track record for simple phrases as album titles. "Life Is Peachy", "Follow The Leader", "Take A Look In The Mirror"? "See You On The Other Side" works perfectly.

Life Is Peachy was amusing because it was obviously a completely ironic title.
Follow the Leader was cool because the phrase fit right in with the child endangerment theme they'd been utilizing in their artwork and a few of their songs as well. ("Shoots and Ladders," "Mr. Rogers," etc.)
Issues was a dud title.
Untouchables has a polar opposite double meaning and was therefore interesting.
Take a Look in the Mirror was kind of a lame title, but since the sound finally hearkened back to their original sound, it was appropriate.
See You on the Other Side is totally trite and lame.

I think this is there best lead off single since "Got The Life". I just can't stop listening to it. This really has me excited about their upcoming release

Here's the BillBoard review of the new Korn single "Twisted Transistor"
Producer(s): Jonathan Davis, the Matrix Writer(s): Korn, the Matrix Publisher(s): various Genre: ROCK Label/Catalog Number: Virgin (CD Promo) Source: Billboard Magazine Originally Reviewed: October 01, 2005
It has been a year of change for Korn. Along with a new label and lineup (its upcoming seventh album is its first without guitarist Brian "Head" Welch), this first taste of the forthcoming "See You on the Other Side" also finds the band's sound evolving. Since its first album made it the standard-bearer of nu-metal, Korn has outlasted the genre, gradually becoming somewhat dance-oriented. "Twisted Transistor" continues that trend, as evidenced by Korn's surprising decision to work with the Matrix. However, the song is more dance-leaning and more straight-ahead rock than anything Korn has done in a while. Beginning with a looped guitar riff, keyboards and electronic flourishes highlight the song, which has a radio-ready chorus (despite a bleeped curse) that proclaims, "The music's tuned, and it is reaching inside you." Some Korn purists might proclaim that "Twisted Transistor" is too polished, but judging from early reaction at rock radio, where it was most added at modern and active, the band should continue its hit streak. —Bram Teitelman

Has lost all of there bullet on the Rock format. But they have a chance to go top ten on AR. This seems to be doing farely well. But not as well as I would've liked with it being the lead single and all

Finally reaching the top ten on the Active Rock format. They need to release the video now.

The video's been on TV for almost a week now. It's hilarious, but unfortunately, they cut away from the music so much for dialogue that the song totally takes a backseat to the concept.
Munky (Snoop), talking back to the Fony records executive, played by Jon Davis, who demands they reshoot the video and incorporate "bling" and "booty-shaking": "The song ain't about booty...it's about transistors." :)

Ok I checked out the video and the song really does play a backseat which is unfornuately. The concept is great I love Lil Jon and Snoop but i mean enuff of the spoken word moments. It really ruins a great song :( I'm a lil disappointed in this video. They need to scrap the freakin spken word . The last part of the video works well tho when Korn actually makes an appearance. I think casting Lil Jon as JD was the best decision

David Banner's the other one. I liked this video a lot. I timed it at a little over seven minutes, and the song itself is only three minutes. So I think just about all the song is present within the video (albeit broken up a lot), and I think some of the instrumental parts are there for a good bit longer.

Seeing this video debut on this past Saturday's Rock Countdown was a bitter pill to swallow in light of the fact that it's been permanently cut down to one hour.

This song seems to have some legs as it now enters the top ten on Alternative. Holding steady at #6 on the Active Rock format and still has a bullet on Rock at #16. This seems to be there biggest hit in awhile. I have listened to the full cd and I can't wait to pick it up tomorrow.

Man SYOTOS is an awesome cd. Probably one of there best efforts yet. And for those who like the remixers of TT there are two different remixes plus a live performance from Russia on the bonus disc

They may very well have saved their future at their chief formats here.
I figured they were done for at Alternative after several miserable releases, most notably "Y'all Want A Single" and "Word Up".
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Wow, i saw a commercial for their new album and it was said to be "The best rock album of the past 5 years" by critics and said it was their best album to date. I ought to get this.

This is Korn's worst album. The only really good song on it is the last one, "Tearjerker." Regarding "Twisted Transistor," shouldn't it be, "Music does" ?? That bugs the s**t out of me, as does the fact that it takes over a minute for the song to actually start. And I can't stand how Jon is always multitracking his vocals lately so the end result is a mushy inhuman voice. Seriously, some of their songs sound like Grover and the Cookie Monster singing simultaneously, and not just on this album. This record overall is an overproduced, poorly written mess. If all these songs had been left on the cutting room floor I'd be a lot happier: 10 or a 2-Way Love Song Getting Off For No One And what's with all the noise between most of the songs? It's just wasting time. But gotta put those bagpipes in somewhere, preferably incorporated someplace new. "It's Me Again" should be on the main album and not bumped onto the bonus disc. Wow, I totally miss Head right about now. Wow, i saw a commercial for their new album and it was said to be "The best rock album of the past 5 years" by critics and said it was their best album to date. Did the quote have a source? It really is probably Korn's best cd if you are into traditional Korn. Much like there debut disc. Um, nothing like their first disc. That distinction goes to their previous one.

^Not sure if the quote had a source... but the announcer was saying "Critics have said that this is the best rock album in that past 5 years."

I think it is as much as their debut disc as anything they have released since. It has put TALITM to shame imo. This is the hardest they have ever been. I think it worked out great but to each their own
