After being into "Somnabulist" for the past week or so, I decided to download another one oh his songs... "Satellite" The song is AMAZING.... it sounds very chillout and quite different from "Somnabulist."
What does everyone think of BT? I knew of him but never knew his material until "Somnabulist." What is his older material like for th most part. Favorite songs?
Also, I did lose a LITTLE cred with me when I found out he produced N Sync's dreadful "Pop"

IMO, his earlier stuff is better. My favorite songs from him are "Dreaming", "Never Gonna Come Back Down", and "Flaming June".

Jared,
Do you like "Satellite"? I still can't get over how different it sounds from "Somnabulist."
You reminded me that I have also heard "Never Gonna Come Back Down" before... don't care for it as much though.
Do you know more songs of his in the same vein as "Satellite"? Like the chill-out side of things....

I won't fault BT for "Pop" because he isn't the one to blame for that song at all. I think he made the song sound extremely slick. It's too bad 'nsync had to add horrible lyrics to it.

Downloaded a few songs based on these suggestions.
Didn't like 'Satellite' or 'Dreaming', but I'm definitely into 'Never Gonna Come Back Down' and 'Flaming June' is okay.

The Paul Van Dyk Blauer Himmel Mix of "Blue Skies" with Tori Amos is amazing! Tori's vocals are totally haunting and hypnotizing. And that bassline! Whew!

I actually prefer BT's newer stuff. "Emotional Technology" is one of my favorite albums ever.

'Shame' should've been a smash. Radio probably thought it sounded too british, despite the fact that he's from DC.
