The last one that really got to me was "Bedshaped" by Keane. Beautiful video, really sad and moving, perfectly suited the song too. I was astounded the first time I saw it. It's perfect.
An old one, Sinead O'Connor - Nothing Compares 2 U. When that first tear falls, it's so powerful.

I had the strangest reaction to Bring Me to Life by Evervescence. The first time I saw the video I started sobbing when she fell from the window ledge. Weird! That's the second time I had a over-the-top reaction to someone falling to their death. The first time was in the Stallone movie "Cliffhanger". When the girl falls to her death in the beginning of the movie I turned off the VCR and couldn't watch the rest. Very strange. I'm thinking I fell to my death in a previous life or something.

Not really. But Johnny Cash's video for Hurt was something that could have almost done it.
Also, Matthew Good Band's video for Strange Days is pretty damn sad.

The video for "Hurt" didn't make me cry, but it did make me sad. It was the history of Johnny Cash's life told in flashback and what a life he had lived.

That Korean video that was circulating everywhere two years ago. Yuhja Ee Nee Ga? I didn't cry, but I went "Awwwww....!!" It was an 8-min-long weepy extravaganza.

The three I can think of off the bat that didn't make me cry, but gave me a huge lump in a throat :'( were Johnny Cash's 'Hurt', which has to be the saddest video of all time because it's not a story line for a video, it's his life, made even the more eerie when the two that appeared in the video (Cash and his wife) died last year. The song is haunting as well.
Coldplay's 'The Scientist' really shocked me the first time I saw it and the ending, a real masterpiece a little lump that time.
Those familiar which Spanish music w/o a doubt know Juanes, well his video for 'Nada' was probably the second closest (to 'Hurt') that I came to shedding a tear, it's a real emotional video.
Other two that came close was Brand New's 'The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows' and Brian McKnight's 'Back to One' (almost) and the guilty pleasure one that I got way too into was Enrique Iglesias' 'Hero'

Back in 1994, Aaron Hall's "I Miss You," where his wife dies after giving birth. The exact moment the doctor tells him, where he breaks down and his buddies console him.
That's the most extreme case and the only one that immediately comes to mind.

I can't think of one, but I'm sure some video has made me teary-eyed. I mean, I've gotten teary-eyed watching telenovelas!

I honestly don't think so. Sometimes it's hard for me to take emotional videos to the heart, because in the back of my mind I'm thinking, "There's a director that's going to be saying CUT any minute now."
But that's only with videos. I can easily cry when watching sentimental/dramatic movies.

The video for "Hurt" didn't make me cry, but it did make me sad. It was the history of Johnny Cash's life told in flashback and what a life he had lived. Yeah, this has to be the closest. I remember first seeing the video on 120 Minutes. The first time I saw how much he had aged, I was like "Oh man, that's Johnny Cash?" I thought it was so tragic what happened to him physically. Which was exactly the point of the video. But generally speaking, for me, crying during a video seems even weirder than crying during a song. I mean each can elicit appropriate emotions when they want to, and sometimes it's sadness. But to be bawling over a four-minute piece of music... I don't know, I guess I just don't ever see myself doing that.

You know what video I'm surprised hasn't been said in here?
Live's video for Lightning Crashes. That's an emotional video for an emotional song if there ever was one.
