Whose new album do you think will sell more?
Sarah has the fanbase (though that may mean it drops hard now) but Dido has shown longevity and has a hit single.
I think Dido should go Double Platinum, Maybe Triple, especially if she gets Grammy's.
Sarah it's too hard to call, though with her opening figures she's easily Platinum anyway.

"White Flag" will overall be a bigger hit than "Fallen" but I'm sure "Stupid"(Sarah's second single) can help Sarah reach 2 million copies, Dido will probably sell 1.3/1.5 million before the second single is released US...

Sarah has the fanbase and the radio support at certain formats that will keep her in the light.

Sarah, because of her fanbase and longevity. It's also been a while since she released an album, so there's more anticipation.

Sarah's album is flawless. It's the first A+ album to come out in years. I think I've listened to it 2 or 3 times a day since it came out 2 weeks ago. I listen to it in the morning while I'm getting dressed, when i take my nap, while I do homework since it's relaxing, when I'm driving... ahhh I can't get enough.
Dido's album is quality... I'd give it a B+

Sarah McLachlan. She has been recording for a while now and she has proven time and time again that she is a quality artist.
And her live shows are amazing.
And she got a greater audience by doing dance mixes of songs.
I heard the Tiesto Mix of "Silence" and then I was immediately hooked. Then came the Tiesto Mix of "Sweet Surrender" and then I got her Remixed album. Before I knew it I had gotten all of her U.S. albums and was going to her shows.
I probably would not have gotten to appreciate her regular stuff if it hadn't been for her dance mixes.
