Actually, come to think of it, "It's My Life" would be a 2003 release, wouldn't it?
If that is the case, I move each single below #7 up and replace No Doubt with "Roses" by Outkast.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

It's hard to remember all of the videos that I've loved this year, but I'll give it a try.
1) Bjork - "Oceania" (easily the most dynamic video of the year, too bad no one saw it, LOL) 2) Franz Ferdinand - "This Fire" 3) U2 - "Vertigo" 4) Kanye West - "Jesus Walks" (the one with the klansman and the burning cross, I didn't care for the other two versions) 5) Nelly Furtado - "Try" 6) Gwen Stefani - "What You Waiting For?" 7) Yeah Yeah Yeahs - "Maps" 8) Blink-182 - "I Miss You" 9) Maroon 5 - "She Will Be Loved" and "This Love" 10) Green Day - "American Idiot"
Honorable mentions:
11) Britney Spears - "Toxic" and "My Prerogative." She does glossy trash better than anyone. 12) Kylie Minogue - "Slow." This would have made my top 5, but technically, it came out in 2003 overseas. 13) The Black Eyed Peas - "Let's Get It Started" 14) Beyonce - "Me, Myself & I" and "Naughty Girl." She's such a diva in her videos. Too bad she doesn't have nearly that much personality in real life. 15) Jay-Z - "Encore" & "99 Problems." I thought the live video captured the energy of the song very well. "99 Problems" seemed a little too obvious at times though. 16) Pretty much anything by Jake Nava featuring a female artist. His videos aren't particularly original in concept, and none of them have plots, but no video director is making women look better these days. He definately did justice to Beyonce, Kylie, Kelis, Britney, and (especially) Brandy. 17) Jet's videos. Fun stuff.

1--Kanye West, All Falls Down 2--Jay-Z, 99 Problems 3--Yellowcard, Ocean Avenue 4--OutKast, Roses 5--Franz Ferdinand, Take Me Out 6--Fabolous, Breathe 7--Linkin Park, Breaking The Habit 8--Bowling For Soup, 1985 9--Snoop Dogg, Drop It Like It's Hot 10--No Doubt, It's My Life HONORABLE MENTION: Dip It Low. Nothing really artistically special about it, but c'mon, you know that's not why I'm picking it ;)
