I have never had any problems burning CD's with windows media player. A lot of my CD's are protected and won't play on any other programs but WM is always fine. If you don't have it, DL it and try that...

I have the latest Roxio and I have no problem getting songs saved to my computer for burning and listening to.

I don't have any copy-protected CD's, but if I did buy one, I would go on WinMX and download all the songs on the CD with a clear conscience. I don't see how they could sue me if I had already paid for the CD in the first place.

I was wondering this earlier today. I received two promo CDs to review this week, but they won't play on my computer.
