I picked up Guster's "Keep it Together" CD at the library. At first it was kind of slow and boring to me, but on repeated listens I've decided that it has such a happy, sunny feeling to it that it makes me happy. Do you like Guster? Favorite song by them?

Yes, I love Guster. I first got into them when I was still in high school... I don't listen to them as much as I used to, but still consider myself a fan...
My two favorite songs by them are "Medicine" and "Demons."

I downloaded Barrel of a Gun from iTunes and I love it, but I don't have anything else by them.

I have one album of theirs. I think I've only listened to it once, and because it was slow never listened to it again. Maybe I'll give it another try.

I've heard a few songs from them. I'm not sure I would like them quite enough to buy a CD, but enough to own copies of their songs. I like "Fa Fa" the best of the songs I've heard from them.

Anyone ever see them live? The link below has some very detailed info on them. Whoever wrote this has a great sense of humor. The part about the Guster Traditions is kind of funny (Section 7, #4). Sounds like Rocky Horror movie where you throw and yell stuff. www.vividgreen.net/guster/faq.html#31They sound like a great band to catch live. I think I read that they are touring next spring. I'm gonna keep my eye out for any local gigs. After reading the FAQ about the band, it makes me think that they're my kind of band. :)

I have a tape of "Lost and Gone Forever" from a few years ago. "Barrel of a Gun" is one of my favorite songs ever. The rest of the album is decent, but nothing that special, in my opinion.
