I bought the Shania Twain "Hits" and Gwen Stefani CD. I may borrow that Shania from my friend and burn it, I don't like her enough to buy my own copy.

I thought about it, but I think everyone should start with the greatest hits.

Smart.
I wonder what recently released album will be the biggest stocking stuffer this season...... Probably Shania?

I typically don't buy music as a Christmas gift (I consider music something that's a bit too personal to give as a gift, not to mention that most of my friends wouldn't know what legally purchased music was if it bit them in the ass), but I did buy the new Rod Stewart DVD for my mother, since I know she's a big fan of his but wouldn't find something like that on her own.

I bought no music for anyone this year. Although, thinking about it now the new Andrea Bocelli CD would have made a good gift for a few people in my family.

I bought the Bee Gees Number Ones CD/DVD set for my stepdad, because he really likes them and I think he owns every other album they've ever put out (and it was only $9.99 at Best Buy!)
I also bought The Killers for myself for birthday 5 days after Christmas (yes, I wrapped it myself ;) )
Otherwise i'm not really into buying music for people. In general, giving of CDs might increase this season b/c of the big sales on new releases for $7.99 and all. Shania is obviously serving a stocking stuffer, as is NOW 17.

I know that the latest from the Rascal Flatts and the Dixie Chicks' Home would make good gifts for one of my sisters.
