1,300,000 mariah, 12,000,000 total 78,000 j. lo, 436,712 total Lol. Maybe in bizarro world. Anyway, I think this is Mariah's comeback. She'll debut lower than J-Lo, but sell more in the long run. Since Get Right is having a hard time as of late, I predict J-Lo will open large and plummet. Openings: J-Lo: 305k Mariah: 250k Totals: J-Lo: 1.7 million Mariah: 2 million

First week:
J-Lo - 300,000 copies Mariah - 325,000 copies
Total (US only) J-Lo - 2.4 million (she should be having some other songs up her sleeve waiting to unleash on radio)
Mariah - 2.3 million (It's comeback time for Mimi)

Mm I really don't know...
Due to the lack of a major hit single I think J.Lo will probably do between 275 and 325k first week.
April 12 is still pretty far away, so who knows just HOW big ILT will be by that point, and what damage it has done, so I really can't say. I think Mariah will definitely have the higher first week numbers, though. 350k at the lowest.

First Week:
Mariah 300,00 Jennifer 275,000
Seeing that Mariah is picking way more spins than Jennifer as of this moment. Also, Mariah has surpassed Jennifer with almost 3 million more impressions.

This is not to start a catfight, but I think this is the first time that both of these artists have a hot single out at the same time. I compare it to Beyonce and Ashanti's 1st week battle back in '03 when both albums came out right after each other. Ashanti won the first week battle, and obviously Beyonce won longterm. Jen went over 350k during the holiday season in 2002 with a hit single...I think she will do 300k this go round and go on to sell just over 2 million again. I think "Get Right" will be a top 5 hit. Mariah sold over 250k during the holiday season w/ no hit single last time. I think she will match that first week number w/ a hit single this time, BUT I also think the buzz on this album will move her closer to 2 mill when all is said and done. A big improvement over her last album. This single should be top 10 and get her career back on track. Honestly, it seems both of these girls did themselves good this time. Has been 2 years since TIMT so she may (hope she does) 300k or so on the 1st week, all depends how big Get Right gets and if Hold U Down is released around that time. Jenny wants Rebirth to be as big as "J.Lo" was dont u think so? She is promoting like crazy in Europe and she's coming to us these days and her Tour can help a lot!!!. Mariah around 250-300k all depends, things may change

It makes me cringe just seeing that she made only 1.1 mil. Im gonna say that Mariah will definitly do better than expected with this album. I see them doing about the same in the long run give or take a few thousand.
Prediction: Mariah #1 with 365K Jen #1 with 330K

200K for J Lo and 1.5 million total. 300K for Mariah and 3 million total. I can't believe people are refusing to guess now, it takes all the fun out of it if you wait. LMAO LMAO LMAO are u kiddin me?!?! Jennifer is gonna sell 1.5?!?!! Jajajaja i think that The Remix sold that... Oh please REBIRTH is gonna go 2x platinum (im just saying 2x cuz because of haterz and stuff but i think can go 3x) or more why? she is going to promote that album everywhere (something that she is doing), Get Right is doing very very good considering the fact that "everybody" hates the song and Jennifer is gonna sell more than 250,00 on the first week but again, doesnt matter who high u get, is how long u stay ;) and when i read things like this i ask to myself where in hell were all Mariah "loyal" fans when Glitter came out and where Chambrecelet came out cuz 1.1 for a Mariah album is kind'a bad dont u think so?!?!

After seeing Its Like That take off at radio and become huge I'm changing my guess to about 400k for Mariah and since Get Right is about to flop I say 250k for J-Lo.
