She still had some iffy moments, but solid nonetheless.

Proving that yes -- Britney can sing. It is a good performance.

I'm shocked that she sung live...I don't like most of Brit's stuff but this song is okay...I'm proud that it was live..she sounded very shaky in some parts but hey that's normal...but she should start to sing live (all the time)...lol

yep...very soon...I don't think what I said was that bad...just being honest (in a nice way...) yea. thats not the 1st time she sung live. She gave a great performance of "thw bottom of my broken heart" at the Grammys that was great and i also remember her performance of "dont let me be the last to know" on the tonight show and "me against the music" that was great. She has her moments where she shows some vocal ability.

Very amateurish. I suppose if you have really low standards, you could consider a great performance.

I remember watching an old profile on Britney on TV where they showed her as a young girl singing. I remember wondering to myself how she ever got to be on the Mickey Mouse club because I didn't think she was very good. On the profile, all the people they interviewed were raving about her singing ability and I just couldn't see it. ???

I can't say it was a GREAT performance, but it is easily the best I've seen from her.
If she did that more often, I wouldn't complain so much.

I think more people would give her at least more respect and not hate her so much if they knew she could at least sing live. Like for me...I don't like Gwen Stefani but I give her respect because I know she always sings live even if it isnt the best.

The media is what makes everyone thinks she lipps everything while it's not true. All her ballads are sung live plus some fast up beat songs aswell.

she did "me against the music" live on Jay Leno. I think it was 1/2 live and 1/2 lipped.

Very amateurish. I suppose if you have really low standards, you could consider a great performance. You're too kind. That performance was a complete laughing stock (everywhere apart from this fan board, it seems), she should have been embarassed for how bad it was.
