I have to go to a concert for one of my music classes and it's either Laurie Anderson or Ladysmith Black Mombazo. Ladysmith are nominated for a Grammy this year, and have been before so I think I might go see that one. But I listened to some of Laurie Anderson's stuff and it's very different.
Anyway, has anyone veer heard of this Laurie Anderson woman?

I liked Ladysmith Black Mombazo when they were featured on B*witched's "I Shall Be There."

Anyway, has anyone veer heard of this Laurie Anderson woman? Yes, darling... she's a performance artist... a postmodern minimalist. Ooh... very chic, arty, avant-garde, high-brow, etc... I think you should pick her!

Laurie Anderson's "O Superman" was one of the most talked about records of 1981. It went to #2 in the UK and was huge in college radio. It's a long, minimalist track (over 7 minutes). She released this song in her mid-30's and has put out a number of albums over the last 20 years. Her concert experience would be unique, so I would pick her!
