Mine would have to be
-Nelly (I've always liked him but now that I listen to more than just singles I like him more) -Tim McGraw (Same reason as Nelly)
that's it for me (right now)
how about you?

- Mariah Carey (again, but not the new stuff, i'm listening to "Music Box" currently) -J.Ho ("Get Right" rox me sox) -Robyn (i hadn't heard anything from her latest album until i heard about Beverley Knight covering "Keep This Fire Burning", so now i've found Robyn's version's actually better) -Appleton (listening to their album again, really liking some stuff not released as singles) -Martika (Eminem's ripping off of "Toy Soldiers" inspired me to only listen to the original out of spite)

Beverley Knight - what a talent actually, same here, I kinda forgot about her but i've been listening to her SO much, she really is amazing. She tops Whitney Houston easily (especially now that Whitney can't actually sing, lol )

actually, same here, I kinda forgot about her but i've been listening to her SO much, she really is amazing. She tops Whitney Houston easily (especially now that Whitney can't actually sing, lol ) Yes Beverley Knight is awesome! I have got 2 of her albums so far, and a 'Best Of Bev' CD that my friend burnt for me a few months ago highlighting songs from all 4 of her albums. I plan to get the other 2 albums soon. She is incredibile. I wouldn't say better than Whitney - they're totally different. I'd compare Beverley more to the artistic soul singer/songwriters like Alicia Keys style but I'd have to say Beverley is a million times better than someone like Alicia Keys. There are so many Beverley songs that just make me go DAMN THIS SONG IS SOOO GOOD! What are your favourite Bev songs? My favourites are "Till I See Ya", "Ambition (It All Comes To You)", "A.W.O.L", "Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda", "Sista Sista", "First Time" and "Not Too Late For Love".... but I could keep on going and going with more songs that are stand-outs.

Well, i think range-wise, she kicks Whitney's butt (ESPECIALLY nowadays, as I've probably said before, Whitney can no longer sing). My mother just sent me "Who I Am" to me from the Netherlands as a christmas gift. I love the Philly Mix of "Shoulda Woulda Coulda" best, actually (it's the last hidden track on the original album). But I absolutely adore "Come As You Are". That song is so awesome and fun, I absolutely love it. "Made It Back (Remix)" ft/ Redman's cool as well. I managed to find "Shape Of You (Reshaped)" on a Bev fansite, that's a really awesome song, but it's not really her best. Other songs I love are "Gold", "Not Too Late For Love" and "Keep This Fire Burning" from the new album. And her first single "Flavour Of The Old School". WOW! This definately needed to be released in America when it first came out in 1995. It would have launched Bev into the stratosphere in America, for sure. It's a real shame it didn't jump the pond. One last song I forgot. I found a live version of Bev singing Coldplay's "Trouble". It gives it a totally new spin, but it's SO awesome. It's amazing how their songs are so great to work with. She really made that song her own.

She really made that song her own. I'll have to try to find that! Beverley wrote the song "First Time" from her latest album with Chris Martin. STUNNING SONG! "Till I See Ya" is just the coolest song ever.
