I've been mentioning this song here and there in a few topics, for quite a while now, but I figure this deserves it's own topic.
DCFC is a local band from Bellingham, WA. KNDD has given the song quite a lot of airplay over the last three months. I really like it. I think it kinda captures the feelings I had on January 1, 2003 when I was still new to the area. Rather than being in the city that I loved and recently moved out of, I was in this strange, unfamiliar area. I was actually about 100 miles north in Vancouver at the time, but that's beside the point. My dad changed my life for his interests and ultimately it was to our detriment. But all that is really beside the point. The point is, this is one of those songs that seems to "speak" to me.
So has anyone else heard this? Any opinions whatsoever?

Well, I like it quite a bit. I know that KSYM in San Antonio has played it, when they play alternative music (it's half alternative/half variety). I don't know if it went for adds, but it should have, because it's real good. Has anyone here heard anything before the last album?
I *love* The Postal Service, an IDM band that has the members of DCFC. One of my friends up in OK was a big fan of them, as well as stuff like The Faint. So, I also liked adding that in just to show that there was other people listening to this "indie" stuff, too. Actually, quite a bit of people from my other high school did...
