What kind of music do you hear when you're at the game?
....I was at the UCLA game on Saturday and the cheerleaders (hot) danced to Britney Spears "Toxic" during halftime, and that only came out a week ago. They can really be on top of things.
(It's too bad they lost to Arizona, but they are still 5-1 in the pac-10 conference. Arizona was on fire so I don't blame them.)

Cheerleader's are part of Britney's core fanbase. I don't doubt that numerous member's have the album and have been working on dances to it for several weeks.
Pink's "Get the Party Started" was really tied into the NBA. they paid to use it as a theme and it was played at every game. The good thing was that the song really fit in well with the activity.
ETA: I cringe everytime Gary Glitter is played at a sporting event. I can't help but think of the royalties being spent to pay for trips to Cambodia.

There isn't a basketball arena in the world who doesn't have a mix cd including "Get Ready For This", "Rock & Roll part 2", and "Right Now" (by Van Halen). I wish people would try something different because it was that way 7 years ago, too.

I think Santana's Foo Foo would be a fun song to hear at a basketball game. The "jump, jump, jump, jump" part would be fun with 20,000 other people.

I always seem to hear "She Wants You" by Billie. But I haven't been to a game in a while.

This is what they play at Hornets games...
P.O.D. 'Boom' (during the player introductions - when they drop the lights)
Luducris 'Stand Up' (the tradition at the NOrena is that nobody sits down until the Hornets score)
GNR - Welcome To The Jungle (usually in the 4th quarter)
They also rotate alot of local hip hop into the game (Mystikal, Big Tymers, etc.)

I think "Welcome to the Jungle" is a prerequisite for almost any NBA game. I just went to a Memphis Grizzlies game on Monday and it was the first time i dont remember hearing that song at a hoops game.

I always seem to hear "She Wants You" by Billie. But I haven't been to a game in a while. YEAH! :) I was always hoping my high school performers would have that on their mixed tapes.
