I'm loving "Maps" right now, the video is alright though. "Fever To Tell" was also nominated for Best Alternative Rock Album or something, I do know for a fact they were nominated in an Album catagory!

They have a bunch of ads on MTV. I dont think i'd ever buy their album, but "Maps" sounds ok.

I think I might like their album. Each of the four tracks from that album that I've heard have been pretty diverse. My grades from what I've heard:
Date With The Night: B Maps: [blue]A+[/blue] Y Control: B+ Modern Romance: B+
Another thing that I would like to add that no one did is that the band is called Yeah Yeah Yeahs and has a song called "No No No. I will admit I'm not an expert on this band at all. Right now, the only member who I can think of by name is Karen O.

Its a great album, I wish it had won the category it was nominated for at the Grammys. I love "Maps", its probably one if not my favorite song on the entire album.

Have you actually listened to their album. 104,000 copies isn't over rated, now 50 Cent is over rated, but I know where you're coming from. I think if anyone, the Strokes are way over rated.

The only thing is that it seems a whole lot of ink is being spilt on this indie groups taht no one would otherwise care about (something like The White Stripes a few years ago). I won't say that they should stay indie, because most bands want to be heard by any means necessary, i just think that they would need to really blow me away with a kickass song for me to say they aren't overrated... tis all. if you read my thread on overrated, i did say that 50 was ;)

You should listen to their self titled EP and Fever To Tell in whole, neither of them are that long. I'm glad they signed to Interscope, it gave them a chance to impact a broader audience and gain more fans, or at least one more. ;) I doubt that Interscope will want them on anymore after Fever To Tell flopping, and then they'll fade into the indie scence again, unless they're given one more chance.
