Which year do you think had the best Artists ruling the charts? I'm gonna have to go with The Class of 2000! What a great class that was!

looking at that, honestly, 2003 would be my favorite year. We'll see how 04 rounds out. Britney, hopefully some Kylie, maybe some more jay-z single, DC later...

If it's going to be just pop artists mentioned, then this belongs in the Pop forum.

You basically only included pop artists in your choices.
Including the alternative and rock songs, I'd probably vote for '98 or '97...I'll go with '98.

Ugh, the bulk of those artists have no tangible talent and suck, No Doubt and TLC are cool, what the hell, I'll go with 2002.

I enjoyed most of the music that was out in 2001, so that's got my vote!

You basically only included pop artists in your choices. He sure didn't leave anyone that sucked out of the poll, that's for sure.

my choice based on the artists you listed is completely different than all the artists who charted...
normally i would pick 1998, the year of Monica with 17 weeks at #1... it was a good year around.
but with those artists listed there, shocking i think i say 03.

I don't know about artists, but the best songs happened during 2000. It's gone downhill since then.
