I meant to post about this last week when I saw the tapes come in at Interscope (we're working her vids now since Dreamworks was bought by Universal). I think the video is really well done. Her performance shots with her looking into the camera are striking. The imagery is great.

Can someone explain the video? Do they air it on any major stations yet? Is it up on a website?

Can someone explain the video? Do they air it on any major stations yet? Is it up on a website? It's Nelly as frontier-woman or something like that. I know there are shots of her with a cow and the whole mood is pretty dark and somber. We delivered the video to MTV and VH1 last Wednesday. I'm not sure if it's aired yet.

This is what scares me for Nelly's career, the song is actually intelligent and talks about a different side of love, and that doesn't seem to be "in" at Mtv now. While I'm sure the video is awesome and people with half a brain for decent music will enjoy and appreciate it, I'm scared that it won't catch on at Mtv or VH1, and this could spell the end of her career, with her album only having sold about 300,000 copies so far (which is respectable), but Interscope is fair and gives their artists chances to make up.

Good video and great song; it reminds me of Lene Marlin's "Another Day" in the beginning. You can watch it here: nellycentral.com/

Wow, she looks great. She's got really intense eyes. I love this song.

Awesome, I love this... they used the album version instead of the radio version for the video?

Nelly Furtado is reminding me of Paula Cole, and this video further makes me think that. It's not bad.

When will the video and single be released to the public?

The video is online and TCorey said the video was delivered. I call that released to the public. All releasing a video can do is get it on the artist's website, they can't force TV to play it.
