I think it's fabulous. Scissor Sisters bashed Britney and look what ends up happening to them. launch.com predictions were right about Britney. She certainly deserved this award. But she also deserved some grammies back then.

I don't think she deserves it, but I'm not going to complain. The awards haven't come on yet, so was it an on-stage award or one of those before-we-go-to-commerical awards? *hides behind chair before Britney fans start attacking me*

Congratulations!!! I think that it is a good thing that Jive submitted this song to that category. In the past, a lot of her songs that they submitted, (IMO), didn't deserve to win. But Toxic deserved it. (I think that it also deserved more appreciation from other award shows but that is another thread)

Im extremely happy for her. What did Scissor Sisters say about Britney? They said Britney should work at MacDonalds. Which I find now to be extremely ironic. They said that 2 days before the Grammy's. They were the favorite to win and they lost. I bet you now they're acting like sore losers. They are the worst band to come out of the UK is it? Where did they come from?

If Britney didn't sing it they wouldn't have Toxic. So of course it goes to her. They took into account the vocals and instrumental production. So your comment just went down the drain.

same reason why Janet won for "all for u" its a great song to dance to. Exactly. I see people I know humming Toxic or singing it, and they don't like Britney. Some people are kidding themselves.

I forgot to add something to this post. There ya go this sums up everything about how Toxic won. She won for the vocals, production, and or the instrumental. (For solo, duo, group or collaborative performances. Vocal or Instrumental. Singles or tracks only.)

For proof that Britney deserved to win, see topic: "How do young political buffs get CRUNK wit' it?"
A picture of teens RUNNING to the dance floor to dance to "Toxic" when the DJ started spinning it!

I'm glad Britney won this. Had it been any other Britney song in any other category, I could've thought of a better choice. It's too bad the success of "Toxic" didn't help her label realize that if they took the time to choose the right single to release, success would follow.

Much deserved.

Well, Scissor Sisters are much more original than Britney, and they should have won, but I have no problem that she won something.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

But I didn't really have a problem with Britney winning, because Toxic is probably the best song she's ever recorded, IMO.

Britney totally deserved this Grammy! Ater being snubbed in the record of the year category, it was the least they could do to make up for it. Britney is Toxic..no one could have pulled it off like her
