Sophie Ellis Bexter- Murder on the Dancefloor Dido- Don't Think of Me Enrique Iglesias w/ Kelis- Not In Love Deborah Cox- Something Happened on the Way to Heaven
"Murder" has had a resurgence on my college campus.. it seems to be blaring from every dorm room
"Don't" should have been released after Dido became popular
"Not" got lost in the shuffle
"Something" should have gone for adds officially on pop it'd be this years "Heaven"

The Darkness: I Believe In A Thing Called Love: (It seems this single is not going to be remembered on ANY format, when it sounds like a should-be mega-hit. It is rapidly fading into obscurity on Alternative, while suffering a landslide on CHR/Pop from a #33 peak.
Live: Heaven (It is unforgiving how "Heaven" became a hit at Hot C but never crossed over in earnest. "Birds of Pray" could have been a hit album and CHR/Pop screwed the band over.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Most of these mentions are singles from past albums or singles that just bombed at pop and did fine at their "home" format. I think at that point, it's too late.
I would do it mostly for dance releases. I agree that Deborah Cox's "Something Happened On The Way To Heaven" should actually go for adds.
Some others from last year that should have gone for adds:
"In Your Life," La Bouche (I think this one may have but I don't remember.)
The Lasgo singles not going for adds is a travesty. Pop radio seems to be in trance mode.
"If I Were You," Candee Jay (same producers as "Better Off Alone". should have been given a chance at pop)
"No One's Gonna Change You," Reina (picked up by Z100 and KTU but never went for adds)
"I Don't Want U," Wide Life (another Z100 KTU add. This should have had the success that "All Things" had, but on a greater scale)
"Back 4 The Morning," Neja (this hung around on Mediabase forever. I don't think it would have been huge but it was worth a push. got some KTU airplay.)
I would have liked to see Dannii Minogue's "I Begin To Wonder" do well. Unfortunately, the label sent it for adds with 0 other promotion.

Sophie Ellis Bextor Murder on The Dancefloor!
It did very well outside the USA, has a great music video that MTV and VH1, I am sure would play. Great song for pop radio. She has some other very good songs, so I really would not think that she would be a one hit wonder in the US.
This song went for add the week after 911!
After what had happen at the time, there was no way radio would play a song that had Murder in it.

This song went for add the week after 911! Yeah, but it was 2002, not 2001. I think it bombed because it's disco and campy and the US does not like that.

I agree about Mandy and leAnne. Also: "Going Under" - Evanescence. Whether some viewed it as too "rock"-sounding or not, more pop stations should have given it a chance. "Try"- Nelly Furtado. This should have been a huge hit on Hot AC and a moderate hit on Chr/Pop as well. Why oh why did radio overlook this one? "Everything"- Fefe Dobson. I think the song would have fared better had it been released back in 1998/1999, but more pop stations should have picked up on this one either way, enough so as to make it at least a top 30 hit.
