Get this.. I just counted how many #1s she has:
1996 Who Do U Love Hot Dance Music/Club Play
1997 Things Just Ain't The Same Hot Dance Music/Club Play
1998 Nobody s Supposed To Be Here Hot Dance Music/Club Play
1999 It s Over Now Hot Dance Music/Club Play
2000 I Never Knew Hot Dance Music/Club Play
2001 Absolutely Not Hot Dance Music/Club Play
2002 Mr. Lonely (Remixes) Hot Dance Music/Club Play
2003 Play Your Part (Remixes) Hot Dance Music/Club Play
A #1 hit every year from 1996-2003... EIGHT #1s... without fail. That's not... and I find it odd since at heart she's an R&B artist. I wonder if she'll have a #1 this year too.

She has a new single out called "Easy As Life". It looks like she's going to become a full club artist. I'm happy for her. If the dance community is more accepting, she should go and appeal to them since R&B music doesn't do well for her.
As for queen of the clubs, every one of Kristine W.'s seven singles have gone to #1.
Mariah Carey also has 8 #1's. Whitney Houston has 13 #1's.
However, to call Deborah the queen of the clubs is a joke. Let's not forget, Madonna has 29 #1's.
