And Dope goes for the obvious cover single as their second from American Apathy. Goes for adds November 21st. Now, I think Dope is an okay band for a Marilyn Manson wannabe group, but this cover is horrible, especially in comparison to APC's cover from Emotive. They really should've gone with Survive to target Dope's core audience instead of trying to sucker people in like this.

Lol, I want to hear this to see if it's as laughably bad as their cover of "You Spin Me Round" was.

In fact, to my knowledge, "Survive" is the only video Dope have made for this album. It was live footage of them in Japan interspersed with clips from their previous videos. Over the years it became apparent to me that these guys are idiots with only a limited amount of talent. I liked "You Spin Me 'Round."

After listening to the clip of this, I'd say it has the catchiness and potential to sort of make some noise on the charts, but after seeing how "Always" did nothing, this unfortunately probably won't either.

Ugh. Dave Gahan would be spinning in his grave.

I love it!! I guess I like the 80s. This should go to Alternative as well. Depeche Mode seems to be having a good year of revivals! Their career and their songs!

Personally I thought they butchered "You Spin Me Around." I'm a big DM fan, so I'm a little protective of their songs, but this is a passable cover. It should do ok.
