Clear Channel changed Classic Rock WTBT to Country to challenge Infinity's WQYK and WYUU.

all that AND Skip Mahaffey!! Looks like CC is trying to
decimate Infinity now. An observation from this:
I get the desire to create some competition in the
country genre (since Infinity had both stations), but
why would you sacrifice what was obviously the better
of the two classic rock stations (the Bone is a joke with
their VERY limited playlist). Something tells me that
the fact that WTBT is the Bucs' flagship (or even the
Buccaneers themselves, who produce their own
broadcasts) may have had a hand in this format change.
