Anyone notice how CDs that came out in Q4 of 2004 started having a FBI warning plastered all over them? The warning is huge and it sometimes covers whole sections of the cd. What do you think about them?
I think it ruins the album art. They are sometimes even on the back of the album plastic case.

I'm not really sure what you mean, since I've never seen those FBI warnings on the front of the CD, only on the back. In those instances, I think they could make them a little less obtrusive. To The 5 Boroughs is a great example since they put it right over the drawing of New York City when they could've easily put it on top where it would've blended in better and wouldn't have messed up the art. Hot Fuss is another example where it looks a little in the way. But on How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb I think it looks OK.

They should put a pamphlet inside the cover or something, not a sticker. I hate it when things are attatched like security strips inside the plastic case blocking things. So so stupid.

i've also seen them on the back. the first time i've seen the warning was on Diana DeGarmo's single, which I bought in June.

Put an FBI warning on the back of the album cover, I don't care, just don't be like The Mars Volta's Frances The Mute album where there's a warning right on the disc itself, and its text is larger than anything else printed on the Cd. It annoys me to look at it.

Yeah, I hate those security strips. I'd rather have the discs still be in those bulky plastic containers that they have to remove at the register.
