I don't know if she'll actually release one, since she already released eight ( :o) and the latest one flopped at country (could still be a big hit at AC though). However, out of the ones left, what do you think it should be?
Because of what happened to "It Only Hurts When I'm Breathing," I'd say all the remaining ballads are out of the question. "Juanita" and "Ain't No Particular Way" also sound more made for pop radio than country. "C'est La Vie" sounds so embarassingly much like ABBA's "Dancing Queen," I doubt she'd release that.
My favorite left is the 80's pop-rock sounding "I'm Not In The Mood (To Say No)" but that's probably not all that country friendly.

I'm still hoping for a dance remix of What A Way To Wanna Be here in Europe.

I would pick "Nah!"
"I Ain't Goin' Down" would also make a nice single, but it's a ballad.

Well, "Forever And For Always" was probably the countriest song on the album and it only squeaked into the Top 5, so I don't know that any other song can match it.
Listening to the country version of the album, I'd go with "Nah!", "(Wanna Get To Know You) That Good" or "Thank You Baby!".
"Ain't Goin Down" does sound pretty country, but I just don't think it's good.

Eight singles? I know of "I'm Gonna Getcha Good," "Up!," "Forever And For Always," "She's Not Just A Pretty Face," and "It Only Hurts When I'm Breathing." What else?

How come her album is currently enjoying a sales spike?
Has she resumed her North American Tour?

There are also "Ka-Ching!", "Thank You Baby! (For Makin' Someday Come So Soon)" and "When You Kiss Me." And were they released in the United States? Singles last a long time on Country and you don't need eight singles in less than two years on Country radio in the United States. "Ka-Ching!" has one spin and I didn't see the other two in the Country current or recurrent sections so it doesn't seem like they were recently released in the United States (the five singles I named all have spins).

I guess I was wrong about "I'm Not In The Mood" not being good for country.

MuchMoreMusic plays "When You Kiss Me." They didn't play any of her overseas releases, so is that the next North American single then?

It was sent to CMT last month too but "It Only Hurts When I'm Breathing" is the radio single so I have no idea what's going on. I think it's a video only single here.

"Nah!" - I loved it from day 1 and even my Mum thinks it's a cool song and what my Mum says goes!

My mom likes "C'est La Vie." :) "Up!" was the only CD I had in the car so my mom has heard it plenty of times.

I'm really diappointed that IOHWIB has peaked - I thought it'd be a top 5 hit for her. "Nah" is my favorite song on the album, so I'd love to see it released. I also think that "I Ain't Goin' Down" would be a hit at country if it were released.
I think the reason that "I'm Not In The Mood To Say Know" has so many spins is that at least 1 station played it as her current single, and didn't play IOHWIB.

Sorry to interrupt, I was on the old R&R message board, a huge Shania fan - but lost the adress of this site. Now I find it again, I don't think you remember me, although I remmeber most of you from the old board.
Anyway, the latest Shania news is, that she will release a GH album later this year, which I think reduce the coming new singles from UP! to 1 perhaps, or none.
Nah! should have been the third single, Shania mentioned it so too, and we never knew why was the flip on that song, and that It Only Hurts. So it can be a choice.
Since Shania also said she won't make new videos, if she didn't do one earlier, than the easist to release one of the European singles already has videos: Ka-Ching! which was her biggest hit so far in Europe, equal to That Don't Impress Me Much! ; Thank You Baby ; or When You Kiss Me.
But with her (and specially with her label) you never know.
Sorry for the long post, and my best wishes to TCorey, Someguy, EvanJ and Sean.

How come her album is currently enjoying a sales spike? Has she resumed her North American Tour? Yes, she's back in the States, for a second leg of around 35 dates. And although country industry likes to look to other directions, she's doing very well. Her latest concert in Omaha has another record attendance. Now she's in a mini-break till the 3rd of June, than will start the last part of her tour, till the 10th of July.
