Generally, how deep the record labels are involved in the tour of an artist? And what are the percentages they receive?
Is there any differences by genres?
Is there any difference in this between the States, Europe, Australia?
Thanks

Some artists don't get paid a dime because their sponsor is Clear Channel, which offers airplay as payment. At least that's what I've heard.

Generally labels aren't involved in touring at all.
Only when the artist needs money to help fund the tour does the label put up money called "tour support" to help them out. Then they'll recoup that money from either tour revenues or album sales royalties.
