Who are your station's core artists?

I exchanged e-mails with my local DJ a few weeks back (was requesting MB20's Downfall) and he mentioned that MB20 was a "core artist" of the station.  Don't know if this is a technical term or what.  Anyway, it got me wondering who would others consider as "core artists" on their favorite station.

Matchbox Twenty is definitely WPLJ's core artist, at least, imo. They have three MBT songs currently in their playlist - Bright Lights, Unwell, and All I Need - 40+ spins, 25+ spins, and 17 spins, respectively. ;)

K-Rock=Easily the Beastie Boys. They play them sooo much. Especially in the days leading to Dysfunctional Family Picnic.

WBLS=Easily Alicia Keys

Z-100=Britney Spears and Usher

Hot 97 and Power 105=Usher, Kanye and Jay-Z

WPLJ=Maroon 5, Matchbox 20, and 3 Doors Down

Kiss FM=Alicia Keys and Luther Vandross

When we had a Hot AC station (and before that they were pop) the core artists were Pink, matchbox twenty and U2.

WPLJ is definitely matchbox twenty friendly, which I love!! I email them all the time too requesting their songs... as of right now, looks like Downfall is not playing as much, if at all,, but on a brighter note, "ALL I NEED" is getting alot of airplay!!! I keep telling them to play it more, so we'll see;) Still seems odd they released this single with no video, I dont know how good it's going to do, we'll see!! Anyone know if it's going for ADDS??

One station plays Sarah M, Train, MB20, and 3 Doors Down a lot.

Sarah M is the oddest choice-I swear they played Fallen nonstop. They STILL play that song on a regular basis.
