Does anyone else think Jennifer Lopez should do a cover of Jody Watlys "everything"? I just recenly heard the song after a long time but soon as I heard it, I thought of J-Lo. Maybe its because of the weak vocals or something, but i could definately see this as a Jennifer Lopez song.

And it seems to be that she loves the "overexposure". Like he laps it up.

How about if J-Lo just leaves the planet? Just as long as she leavers her trunk behind.

No! I'm against covers in principle, unless they can sing and perform significantly better or it's arranged considerably different than any earlier hit version, or it's a virtual unknown and unplayed song.
Having said that, what remake was it from her last CD that I thought she did surprisingly well? Ah, "You Belong To Me". But still it wasn't superior to either Nicolette Larson's or the Doobie Brothers version.

Ah, yes! Carly Simon, not Nicolette Larson. My mistake.
