Where did Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing" and "Run To You" peak on the Billboard Hot 100?
Thanx.

I Have Nothing peaked at #4, and Run To You peaked at #31. "I Have Nothing" should have reached no.1. What about "I'm Every Woman"?

"I Have Nothing" should have reached no.1. What about "I'm Every Woman"? I think if it had been up against different competition it may have-- the song's rather widely considered a classic, it's becoming a real standard.

I remember it becoming #1 somewhere: maybe a local survey or a national survey other than Billboard. I'm looking at which songs were ahead of "I Who Have Nothing" and they are "Informer" by Snow, "Freak Me" by Silk, and "Nuthin' But A G Thang" by Dr. Dre. I remember "Freak Me" being #1 for several weeks, but the other two not doing much on the national countdowns I listened to.

"I Have Nothing" hit #1 at CHR/Pop, so I'm assuming urban airplay and sales kept it from #1 on the Hot 100.

I'm Every Woman also peaked at #4 on the Hot 100. As for I Have Nothing, it peaked at #4 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks, #5 on Billboard's Rhythmic chart, and #3 on Billboard's Pop chart.
