Actually, I think that song was #1 on Hot 100 Airplay but did not chart on the Hot 100 because there was no single for sale.

No, it stalled out at #2 for like 4 or 5 weeks. Actually, it spent eight weeks at #2.

Im A Slave 4 U - Britney Spears forgot about that one. I can almost guarantee it would have been #1, or at least top 5, if another artist's name was attached to it.

It spent a number of weeks at #4. and I also agree with Uninvited, Whatever Happens, Stranger In Moscow, You Rock My World(#10), Sheryl Crow, SWV, Mariah Carey.

Janet's If was a Top 5 hit. It spent a number of weeks at #4. Two, in fact (but five weeks in the top five).

"I Want it That Way" Backstreet Boys "Miss Independent" Kelly Clarkson "Toxic" Britney Spears "Invisible" Clay Aiken
All catchy pop songs. I Want it That Way peaked at #6, Miss Independent at #9, and i'm not sure where "Toxic" peaked. "Invisible" peaked somewhere in the 30s, because some major markets (like Chicago) were incredibly stubborn and refused to play it, despite being a top 15 hit on the R&R pop chart.
Also, "Beautiful" and "Fighter" by Christina Aguilera. There are tons of songs over the past few years that have been shafted due to the domination of hip-hop and r&b over the Hot 100.

Toxic peaked at #9, and Invisible peaked at #37.
Even though it flopped, I thought Britney's "Boys" was her best single to date and should have gone to #1.

For two weeks in a row "Beautiful" was the most played song in the country but was stuck and number 2 and 3 because those songs had a bigger audience. That sucked.

Let's face its Invisible did not even deserve to be on the Hot 100 let alone get into the Top 40.

LOL! I would actually add They Don't Care About Us to your list as it is my favorite Michael Jackson song period. "They Don't Care About Us!" was number 1 in like every European country, so it doesn't really bother me that it stalled at #30 in the US.
