Do you think that the 2005 Grammy Awards could be what really gets Tamyra Gray's career going?
Even if she doesn't win anything she could possibly be nominated for several Grammy awards and get some attention?
It doesn't always take huge success and promotion to be nominated for Grammy Awards as evidented by Norah Jones and Heather Headley *I still don't know who she is*.
What do you all think?

For some reason I doubt she will even be nominated.

Why would she be nominated? She wont be. 2005 Grammys are going to be about Usher, Alicia and the Dark horse...........Brandy. She has gotten so much critical acclaim i wouldnt be surprised if she got a album of the year nomination. JT got one last year and his album wasnt nearly as good as hers nor did he get the acclaim she got.

I actually like her album. It'd be nice if Raindrops Will Fall at least gets a nomination.

It's actually a really good R&B album, but it won't get nominated because nobody will ever hear it, much less those voting on the Grammy awards. Tamyra's reviews have been positive.
Incidentally, I think Fantasia could get a nod for Best New Artist due to all her critical tonguebathing, although I doubt her album will be released by the cutoff date. (Hopefully not, she'll be on tour up till then.)

As much of a boost as Anthony Hamilton got from his BET Award nominations.

She doesn't stand out enough in the music industry, there's nothing huge enough that will separate her that far apart from the competition for her to be recognized.
