Yea they flopped. it doesnt matter if thyey were nominated for Grammys...its still a flop by the standards set on their previous efforts. Lots of Grammy nominees are flops. None of their singles performed up to par (they picked the WORST signle choices) and they came out at a time when 50 Cent was the hottest thing around and they got over shadowed. If they were not the highest selling group in history it wouldnt be considered a flop..but since they are...it is. Its sad because I am a TLC fan nad 3D was my favorite TLC album but oh well. If u enjoy the music it doesnt matter if it flopped or not. On a good note, at least all 3 of the singles hit the Hot 100. But maybe it wouldnt have flopped if they actually promoted the album insteead of dropping 3 singles and being done with the album???

They didn't have commercial singles. Sad! I have seen the "girl talk"/"hands up" single in the stores.

I liked 3D as well, but you're right, what were they thinking by releasing Girl Talk first? I'll never understand that. Quickie would have done better. That was supposed to be the 1st single, right?

That was supposed to be the 1st single, right? yea they were choosing between "quckie" and "girl talk". the last minute they decided "girl talk". I think "dirty" woulda been a much better 1st single, but they wanted something with Left eye on it for the 1st single "so so dumb" was a good track that deserved to be a single, so was "over me"and also they were IDIOTS not to release "in your arms tonight" as the 2nd single. The Neptunes did an amazing job on that song. TLC was the 2nd group dumb enough not to release a Neptunes track as their 2nd single. 702 had a song called "i still love u" the neptuens did and it got alot of Urban play that summer but i dont think they ever officially released it. What a waste.
