Janet Jackson "Black Cat" Aretha Franklin "Respect" Faith Hill "Breathe" Justin Timberlake "Cry Me A River" Alicia Keys "Why Do I Feel So Sad" Tamia - "Stranger In My House"

Despite the fact there's been a lot of... less intelligent threads, lately, this is a good one. We need to have more like this.
Britney Spears - I haven't heard anything other than singles... I don't know. "pass".
Christina Aguilera - "I Turn To You" it's hard to do a Diane Warren song without OVERdoing it.
Mariah Carey - uptempo is hardest, but for Mariah I have to pick "Vanishing", it blows me away.
Whitney Houston - uptempo is hardest! "I'm Your Baby Tonight" all the way.
Toni Braxton - "Another Sad Love Song" definitely.
Michael Jackson - yah, I can go for "Remember the time"
Janet Jackson - mmm... I'll go with "I Get So Lonely" since her uptempo tracks are weak ("Pleasure Principle" is embarassing)
Aretha Franklin - "Wholy Holy" !!!
Faith Hill - "Breathe"
Justin Timberlake - umm... hm. i guess "cry me a river"
Alicia Keys - "if I ain't got you" is flawless. should have been a #1 on the hot 100, but of course pop is MONTHS behind in getting on this song.
Tamia - I assume not everyone has heard it, or they would all pick "You Put A Move On My Heart"

Tamia- Ummm... who is she? Ugh. Probably you'd know her best, sadly, for singing the hook on Fabolous' 2003 hit "So Into You" which actually sampled her song of the same name from her first album. Her biggest solo hit is "Stranger In My House". She also had a big hit with Eric Benet in "Spend My Life With You"

Aretha Franklin "Natural Woman" "Giving Him Something He Can Feel" I have to retract that. I jjust hear her original version of "Giving Him Something He Can Feel" and it was Flawless and much better than Envogues version and I LOVE EV! But they definately didnt top Aretha.
