Think back to the time when you first heard Tatyana's debut single, "Daydreamin'" on radio, MTV or wherever.
Did you think she would've been as big as she was? "The charts sewed up now!"
Honestly, I thought she was going to be bigger than Brandy and Monica COMBINED and become the next Janet! Her song was hot, her voice was explosive. Tatyana was a triple threat, even PMB knew it (most voted she was more soulful than Alicia Keys!).
It was a shame Tatyana decided to pursue higher education (read: Harvard and a degree in government). College really does hold off budding talent from blooming. I commend people like Lindsay Lohan for saying no to college because college is only for people who don't know what they want to do in life.

How ignorant can you be? There are so many things wrong with that statement......I am just blown away.

She's in Harvard right now? What year? Graduated from Harvard University in June 2002 with a degree in government. A graduate for a while now! Rent "Nora's Hair Salon" at Blockbuster tonight to check out Tatyana! :)

I don't know. I follow pop music fairly close. What has she done? From what I can tell she's never made the pop chart.

I thought she was a HUGE star back in 1999! KZQZ used to air commercials for the All That '99 Tour, which featured Tatyana Ali! I had never heard her music, though. She was just a huge unknown to me, like Steps!
She was on some MTV show a couple years ago, and she wore a low-cut top. She has big chichis. Tetas deliciosas! Caliente.

In any case Tatyana's Daydreamin hit #5 on the Hot 100 and went gold.

I loved Tatyana. She was much more succesful in the UK than America. daydreamin' got to #8, then 'Boy You Knock me Out' was a HUGE hit. It went to #3. It still gets played every now and again. It's a brilliant summer single, hugely underrated in America. She also released a third single here, it got to #20. can't remember what it was called but it had a seriously cheap video. Then she was gone.

Thankyou. The video was STILL better than Britneys!
