As much as i loved "Raindrops Will Fall" it appears the song has not been as successful as it should have been and perhaps Tamyra needs to go with something more uptempo for her second single . Alot of people who are Tamyra fans thought that "Good Ol Days" would have been a good choice for first or second single though some have said it would have worked best as a summer song because of the theme of it and it might be a little late. There has been some talk that "Dont Stop(Keep It Coming) " maybe the follow up . I think any song on this album would sound great on the radio myself as i love everthing there is about Tamyra and her music. "Faces" would be good for top 40 maybe because of it's rock edge . Anyone have thoughts on what they think will or might work on radio from this great album.

'Legend' should probably be the second single. It's a good r&b song that is very radio friendly.
'Faces' would make another good single.

Did Tamyra try shopping her "Dreamer" album to Sony and Universal before Simon Fuller decided to create '19 Records' for her to release it on?
Or were Universal or Sony one of the avenues she went down before 'Idol' and didn't work?

It doesn't matter. It will flop. If she gets a second single, it should either be what she wants or what the fans want.

:'( It's true. I give Tamyra a 1 in 10 chance of having a popular music career, and a 1 in 5 chance of having any entertainment career on the national level whatsoever.

It doesn't matter. It will flop. If she gets a second single, it should either be what she wants or what the fans want. She lost her connection with the public and her album didn't impress anyone=flop.

Lots of great choices. I'd go with "Good Ol' Days" and hope the nostalgia factor helps it out.

Either "Legend" or "The Only Thing."
