The billboard music awards are going to be held on Decemeber 8 this year so i was wondering who will be the big winners. Im prediciting Usher will walkaway with around 6-7. Other possible winners could be: Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Outkast, Ciara, Maroon 5.

Usher will win everything in the male categories, which will overwhelm him with self-love.
The muppet will win top selling single.

Got this from the Evboard...
Billboard Music Awards '04 - Wednesday, December 8th at 5PM PST/8PM EST at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada
Scheduled to perform: Usher, Nelly, Evanescence, Green Day, Gwen Stefani, and others. Plus a special appearance by Stevie Wonder.
Usher's definitely going to have a big night.
Also, Nelly might have a huge night. Especially when you consider he and McGraw just broke airplay records all over.
Keep in mind that that is the day when Grammy nominations come out, too.
December 8th is a humongous day.

Who? Fantasia? Yep, that's a given.
Usher will sweep, guaranteed. I heard that he and Alicia Keys were performing "My Boo" together, or is that the AMAs?

You mean The Usher Awards cause that's what it's going to be At least Billboard has a rule that artists can only go to the podium once where they receive all their awards. Pretty much expect this year's show to last about 20 minutes.

you all are acting like it's some secret that Usher will win, or that it's b/c Billboard sucks up to him. They base their awards off facts, he's sold the most and had the most weeks at #1, soo...
I think Alicia could edge him out on some R&B awards though, or some female ones. How often do basically the two hottest artists in the same year do a duet together in the same year?

I like the Billboard Awards. Since they're based on chart data, it's less about the suspense of who will win than it is about celebrating the music that was hot this year. I'm an awards show junkie, what can I say?

Keep in mind that that is the day when Grammy nominations come out, too. December 8th is a humongous day. Grammy nominations will actually be announced on Tuesday, 7 December, according to this Grammy press release. It's pretty much set in stone that if you're performing at the BMAs, it's because you've won something, right? I'm not sure what Gwen Stefani could win, though.

I don't think it's just winners performing. If someone has something new coming out then they could be performing but the majority of the performers are winners
