Well, since KNDD cancelled their 2003 year-end chart, and only did a top 77 last year, this is the first time since 2002 that they're actually doing a top 107 of the year. I think the DJs might have had some New Year's beers during both airings. A couple minor errors when they played "Jerk It Out" at #101 on the first airing, and "Rebellion (Lies)" at #68 on the second airing (though the DJ ID'ed it as "Neighborhood #3"). Then for some reason they played "BOBD" at both #65 and #25. On their website it said #25 was actually the mash-up with Oasis, Travis, and Eminem. I don't know if they played it on the first airing, though. And despite that, I'm wondering if maybe those two should be switched, since there's no way "Boulevard" wasn't in the top 25 (though it was last year), nor any way the mash-up was in the top 25 songs of the year.
But this was overly satisfactory nonetheless. I'm kinda surprised Death Cab wasn't at #1, but they were well represented anyway with their two covers in the rear. And the best part: no old Nirvana or Pearl Jam songs.
