You can download them...you shouldn't, but it's the only way to get some radio edits.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but not only has this grown into a full-force guilty pleasure for me, but I think it could work at Pop if they wanted to try it. (If Hinder can try twice, surely this could.) Sadly, the same holds true for me. The song is ridiculous. But it doesn't bother me anymore.

Well, if dumbed down hardcore hiphop with non poppy melodies can catch a life at the pop chart, then why can't Buckcherry with this song? But, wait a minute. It's not hip hop. Neither are the dozens of well deserved alternative hits the last 5 years that deserved to cross over to the pop chart, but sadly, didn't. Because they weren't....hip hop.

Sort of, at least on alternative: Bowling For Soup - The b**ch Song: 1 wk, #50
Was this pre-"Girl All the Bad Guys Want"? I've never heard of this one.Yes, and I'm curious myself, to hear when this hit the chart, because I had no idea either.

I dug up the charts and noticed that, yes, in fact, Bowling for Soup's "Bitch Song" peaked at #49, actually, and spent 2 weeks on the chart back in May/June 2000. (I've only worked my way up into 1996, so I was still aways off of discovering this for myself.)
Out of town, I heard it on the radio last year, having no idea who it was, so I remembered some lyrics and looked it up later. I actually heard it a second time on the radio within the past couple of months on KNSX, my hometown station, who never played it when it was out, as far as I could tell.
Anyway, I watched the original cut of the "Crazy Bitch" video and enjoyed it. Despite loathing the song, it was refreshing to see female nudity in a video (that wasn't low-budget, degrading crapola that made you depressed in the name of female dignity just watching it, on the newly defunct BET Uncut) for the first time since the artfully done "Smack My Bitch Up" video 9 years ago.

It must have been a bitch to edit the song.
