They were on TRL a month ago but it did nothing for them. :( I love this song, the lyrics in the chorus is what does it for me. Its their second single after "Checkmarks". I just wish the video for this were better. Nothing more than a cheap video that has the band hanging out with their groupies. The lead singer reminds me of Adam from Taking Back Sunday. mms://66.186.0.101/allaccess/acadslow.wma

I've been hearing some good things about this band recently, and I can see why after now hearing them. This song is right up my alley since I typically prefer the Punk/Emo/Screamo side of current rock now-in-days. I can see some possible potential for them in the future. They're on Fueled By Ramen Records, which seems to be putting more and more new artists in the mainstream (Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, Paramore, and now have Less Than Jake).

I've not given these boys a fair shake yet, but in general, I perceive them to be a boring, plain, regular emo-band full of scrawny boys younger than me in vintage '70's clothes with scraggly asymmetrical haircuts.

Unfortunately, that is exactly what they are. While I love this song and "Checkmarks", the rest of their album is ok. I really tried to like that album but it does nothing for me.

This did nothing. It just peaked near #70. I thought it would at least surprise me and do what Matchbook Romance is doing now, but I guess not.

I bet almost all of its spins are being played on WOCL. Out of the half hour at the most I listen to that station everyday, I hear it at least 4-5 times a week.

It's a shame. I'm really into this at the moment, and I might even go as far as saying that this is one of the better songs I've heard this year.

I think my love for this song has made me appreciate the album a little more now. I thought it would at least surprise me and do what Matchbook Romance is doing now, but I guess not. Why, what are they doing? "Monsters" is at #62, not much, but its still something I didn't expect. I for sure thought the song would just stay at #130 or whatever number it was at the week it went for adds.

"Monsters" deserves to be MBR's breakout hit, but so far it's gotten hosed. Still being hosed, unless #62 is a significant increase for the song, which, at this point, I'm doubting.
