Didn't find a thread for this. I like this quite a bit , might grow even further on me. Sounds a bit like Godsmack , here's hoping for a top10 peak.

Who still buys actual CDs by brand new bands that sound like this?
People younger than me, I take it?

Actually, I take that back. Having heard the band's album, I now think I actually would buy it. A lot more dramatic and theatrical than most nu-metal bands and there's a good play between melody and heaviness here. Far better than the current run of new contenders (i.e. Faktion, Hinder, Revelation Theory) for sure.

The more I listen to this album, the more I love it.

I respect the fact that they've tried to take nu-metal in a (slightly) different direction, but listening to this song is actually unsettling to me.

Why, because of the lyrical content? I agree, but I have much respect for them for tackling such an unnerving issue.

Actually more of the sound. I haven't paid quite as much attention to the lyrics (I've only heard the full song once and parts of it two other times).

I like this. I'd say it's more like A Perfect Circle than Godsmack, and it's actually kinda refreshing after the dance-rock overload we've faced in the last year.

That radio edit sucks! It's way too rushed.

That radio edit sucks! It's way too rushed. Yes, thats exactly what I was thinking when I first heard this on the radio a few months ago. I really didn't like the song since they edited out all of the parts that make this song pretty good. Once I actually downloaded the real thing and heard the song twice more, I realized it wasn't bad at all.
