This is the second single from Nonpoint's To The Pain. I think it's a perfect choice (especially since most tracks of the album seem too aggressive for radio) and I really hope it does well for them. It goes for adds on May 2nd. However, given their track record, I think it's their lot in life to simply be the most obscure long-running band on radio. I mean, four albums, nine singles, and no attention. But they're still...heh...alive and kicking.
Case in point, their next goal is to record a live CD and DVD in the near future at a Florida show for release sometime in the fall, and I don't know if they're still working on this, but earlier this year they mentioned recording an all-Spanish EP. Should be entertaining.

I loved this song. I think I outplayed it several months ago, but I still like it.

1. It's a lame joke. 2. You used the wrong format. FAILURE. Sorry, but I wasn't going for the old "hot something or other remake!!" gag. I was actually curious if this was a Simple Minds cover or not, as I recall Nonpoint doing another cover a while back that got played on a few stations. Don't remember what that one was though. Thank you for not answering my question though.

I hope this is the single that finally breaks them out nationwide. I've been hearing these guys for many years now, and they barely seem to get much airplay on stations outside of Florida.

theres some stations that have given them loyal airtime around the country, but theyve never made it past like #20 on the AR chart.

Realistically, I just don't think a breakthrough is ever going to happen for these guys. If you're a band that came in during the new-metal craze, and you haven't had a huge hit yet, it's not gonna happen.

If they're ever going break out, it most likely would have to be now with the state music is in currently. We don't know what the next few years will be like though. I could see Nonpoint hitting the Top 10 on AR, but never really getting above say 30 on Alt. Basically, I just want another band from South Florida besides New Found Glory or Dashboard Confessional to make it big one of these days.
