the Dark...while Crooked Teeth goes for adds on Adult Contemporary stations, its follow-up goes for adds on alt stations on June 13th.

WTF!
Though it did peak pretty high, Crooked Teeth wasn't too successful on Alt, it's leaving the chart pretty quickly.
I don't see this doing well at all.

It only peaked at #11, good but maybe not strong enough for this to even go anywhere the Top 20.
What an unexpected single choice for DCFC. Right up there with "El Mañana" by Gorillaz and "Right Where It Belongs" from NIN.

Oops. My bads about that new thread...heh.
^ Hmm. I've always thought that "El Mañana" would be ideal for a fourth single. Personally, I think it'd be the only other radio-friendly song left in the album.

I haven't even heard the third Gorillaz single.

Well it's picking up some spins with the adds date near, unfortunately it doesn't look like they'll back out of this. I like it, but not as a single.

Great song.
I think this might be a little too "soft" for alt radio . It could be a TripleA hit , but I think they should've gone with sth. different here.

The video for "I Will Follow You Into the Dark" is not only finished but you can stream it this very second on Yahoo! Music, and tomorrow on www.deathcabforcutie.com. It was directed by Jamie Thraves who is best known for Radiohead's "Just" and Coldplay's "The Scientist" videos.

It's a fine song, but it doesn't grab me as much as "Soul Meets Body" or "Crooked Teeth" did. Maybe it sounds better within the context of the album, though. I'd probably rank it above only "The Sound of Settling" among Death Cab singles I've heard.

Well, it's a really good song with the usual set of awesome DCFC lyrics...hate to see it ready to flop, but we pretty much all knew it would. :(

Yeah, it's a shame. I like it better than "Crooked Teeth", though. They really should've had a massive hit with this album.

The new alternative station here is giving it some good airplay so far. Maybe it's because they mention Calgary in the song. :)

It may have flopped on alternative, but hey, it was nominated for Best Pop Performance by Duo or Group.

It's also #3 at Triple A.

A good song, but it just never grew on me the way the previous two singles did.
