After creating WDVW New Orleans last year, now Citadel changed Baton Rouge AC WCDV (formerly WBBE) to "Diva 103.3 FM — music for the diva in you." As an AC station, WCDV is currently being more than doubled by Clear Channel competitor KRVE.

I don't know why Citadel did that. WDVW puts in a great signal into Baton Rouge (the transmitter is between Baton Rouge and New Orleans).

This could be the beginning of a new format of radio the way there are the "Jack" and "Bob" stations.

100000watts.com refers to Diva Baton Rouge as hot AC/dance. I'm looking at Diva New Orleans' playlist on stoneage.yes.com (The one for Baton Rouge isn't available) and the description is about right.
