This is the first single from their new album Threes, which comes out on October 11th through Hollywood. Tracklisting is as follows: 01 - "Untreatable Disease" 02 - "Crawl" 03 - "Unstitch Your Mouth" 04 - "Taking Back Control" 05 - "Erase It Again" 06 - "Atlas" 07 - "The Most Vicious Crime" 08 - "False Start" 09 - "Weather The Storm" 10 - "Red.Right.Return. (Straight In Our Hands)" 11 - "Without A Sound" 12 - "Translations" The song can be heard on their Myspace here. www.myspace.com/spartaI personally think the song rocks the house.

I only listened to the two singles from their last album - "Cut Your Ribbon" and "Air" - and I will say that, those two songs to me are ten times better than anything the Mars Volta have put out. It seems unfair to me that Cedric & Omar get all the hype, yet this great band gets critically ignored. Nonetheless, I'm really pumped for this.

That wasn't their last album. Cut Your Ribbon and Air are from Wiretap Scars, their first album.
They came out with Porcelain afterwards which had the very awesome and I'd say underrated Breaking the Broken.
Anyway, history lesson aside, I'm looking forward to what the other half of At the Drive In have in store this time around.

Ah the lost album that I never got around to listening to. Late 2003 and most of 2004 were blanks for me musically, as I never got around to listening to many followup albums (Sugarcult included). Thanks for the info. though.

Yeah, this is a surefire future #1 on the jdmasta289 personal chart.
Does anyone see the political correlation with this song and perhaps a certain political party attempting to re-seize at least the House or Senate this November? No opinions from me, but if you're a Democrat, a song like this could REALLY get you motivated.

So after this has failed to crack the top20 on both the alt and active charts , I guess it's time to talk about a second single. Does anybody know what song will be released next? Erase It Again would be a good choice imo.
