Okay, this is just flat out awesome. What I LOVE about this song is it is a brash bold statement that says "no compromise, we are just gonna rock out and here it is". This is not a radio song per se and I love it. Sounds great, better than I expected. But wouldn't their singles from "Get Born" also follow that same point? "Cold Hard B****" especially was very much a straight-forward rocker, which also so happened to be a chart-topper. It certainly had a hook, but it was also a very epic-sounding direct rocker that leaned heavily on that vintage 70's sound. Sincerely, Noah Eaton I felt that way about their first album actually, it's just very unusual for a follow-up to pop success to stay true to that, and that's why I love what they've done here.

This has actually been known for two weeks now, but here is the track-listing for "Shine On"
*
"L'espirit D'escalier" "Holiday" "Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is" "Bring It On Back" "That's All Lies" "Hey Kids" "Kings Horses" "Shine On" "Come On Come On" "Stand Up" "Rip It Up" "Skin and Bones" "Shiny Magazine" "Eleanor" "All You Have to Do"
*
Sounds like this may indeed be a maturing sophomore effort that also stays true to their debut's form.
I thought "Snap Your Fingers" was certain to make this record. Was it dropped, or was it actually a tentative title?
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

"Snap Your Fingers" is at least supposed to show up in demo form on a vinyl edition in the UK.

"Hey Kids"? I heard that song 2 years ago. The word on that is that Hey Kids was a b-side on a UK single and thus technically no one in the US has heard the song. This is a new version with Nic singing and it is only on the US version of the album.

Alright! The album finally leaked! So far, so good I love the story behind that. iTunes is in so much trouble, I'm not kidding.
